Authors retain the copyright and other intellectual property rights of their original work published in Common Senses: Social & Humanities Journal.

By submitting a manuscript for publication, authors confirm that they have the necessary rights to the work and grant Common Senses the right of first publication and the non-exclusive right to publish, reproduce, distribute, and make the article publicly available as part of the journal's scholarly record.

The authors' retention of copyright does not prevent the journal from disseminating the published work in accordance with the license stated below.
