Common Senses: Social & Humanities Journal is committed to providing an affordable and transparent open-access publishing model.

Submission Fee

There is no submission fee. Manuscripts may be submitted and undergo editorial assessment and peer review free of charge.

Article Publication Charge

A publication charge is applied only to manuscripts that have been accepted for publication.

Maximum Article Publication Charge: IDR 500,000 per article

The publication charge covers essential publication and production services, including:

• copyediting and proofreading;
• typesetting and layout;
• DOI and publication metadata registration; and
• online publication.

Translation and language-conversion services are not included in the publication charge. Authors are responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts meet the journal's language requirements.

Payment and Editorial Independence

The publication charge is requested only after acceptance and has no influence on editorial decisions or peer-review outcomes.

Authors experiencing genuine financial difficulties may contact the editorial office to discuss a possible waiver or reduction.

Withdrawal

Authors are encouraged to carefully consider withdrawal before submitting a manuscript. Withdrawal after substantial editorial or production work has been undertaken may be subject to an administrative withdrawal charge, in accordance with the journal's Withdrawal Policy.
